ABOUT US
Ian Robinson Transport is a haulage company based in Bamber Bridge providing haulage services to a wide range of businesses throughout the UK and Europe.
Ian started the company in 2010 with just one truck.
R88 RBO was the very first vehicle Ian acquired and still takes pride of place in our haulage yard, although it has retired from active work.
Since then we have gone from strength to strength and now operate a modern fleet of over 20 vehicles, the size of our fleet allows us to provide an excellent service to our customers, not only for smaller, adhoc work but also for long term contracts and major project work.
Whilst we class ourselves as a general haulage company we do specialise in the transportation of Hazardous Waste and work for and with many of the industry leading companies in the UK and Europe.
The high quality of our service is what has allowed us to build strong business relationships with numerous leading companies along with smaller businesses across many sectors in the UK and Europe.
We currently have 2 haulage yards, our main base is in Bamber Bridge and our secondary yard is located in St Helens, both are in a prime position offering fast and easy access to all major motorway routes throughout the UK.
Our modern fleet consists of a variety of 44 tonne trucks along with a host of trailers including curtain sided, flat bed and box trailers.
We also have moffett mountys to assist with deliveries where an onsite forklift is not available.
All of our vehicles are fitted with satellite tracking technology which allows our Transport department to monitor the drivers progress, provide updates to our customers and also allows us to apply a proactive approach for any potential delays as we are able to monitor the level of traffic on the roads across the UK.
With an ever growing fleet we are able to offer our services on an adhoc basis, on contract terms or project agreements.
